On 27th June J. C. Aron, one of the best tribute acts in the UK, bought Elvis back to the Juboraj for another massively successful show. Customers enjoyed two 45 minute sets of Elvis classics as they enjoyed a stunning three course meal. Always a sell out! Always brilliant!
Feeding the NHS frontline staff.
The Juboraj Rhiwbina have been doing what they can to help the frontline workers at the NHS during this difficult time. So far they have provided almost 300 freshly made, hot, cooked meals. Chef DMC and his team will be providing at least another 200 over the coming days. We’ve been very pleased that the NHS staff have even taken the trouble to say thank you for the meals. One nurses from Rhiwbina took the time after a long shift to drop a thank you note to through the letterbox! The Public Health Wales Microbiology team took it in turns to eat theirs so they could maintain their distancing.
Ana Miah, managing director at Juboraj, says they wish they could do more and is pleased they could help in this small way.
Nessun Dorma Like you’ve never heard it before!
There was a great deal of chat, laughter and singing at the Juboraj Rhiwbina on the evening of the 14th November when the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast worked in partnership with the Juboraj Rhiwbina to raise £996.5 for Cervical, Breast and Ovarian Cancer, Parkinson and 5C’s charities.
The authentic dishes prepared were outstanding and the Juboraj staff worked tirelessly throughout the evening to make it such a success.
Entertainment was provided by ‘The Chords’ an ensemble of ‘mature’ singers who regularly perform at charity fund raising events. The Chords was formed 20 years ago to entertain Cardiff Royal Infirmary Stroke Patients and has provided pleasure to thousands of people.
Prior to the evening the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast had a collection for the Rohingya Refugee Appeal. District Governor Maggie Hughes presented Ana Miah founder of the Juboraj with a cheque for the Bangladesh UK Environmental Foundation.
